All is Well in Chicago

Chicago is my home town. Bet your bottom dollar. I was born there, schooled there, married there, had the biggest chunk of my career there, and love it to this day. In Christie Hefner’s living room, I talked personal well-being to more than 60 high-powered women of the Chicago Network; at Leslie Hindman’s auction house, Dr. Kathy Weber, sportscaster Peggy Kusinski and I traded stories about what it means to be brave and bold; at the OGGI gallery on Chicago’s new west side, I shared the stage with young writers figuring out their own well-being, and for one night at the Wilmette Theater, live and in person! I had a fabulous conversation with Jen Weigel, who knows everything about self-healing and is funny too.

West Loop, Leslie Hindman’s auction house—A lively panel discussion and fund-raiser for Girls in the Game. Thanks to sports medicine expert Dr. Kathy Weber and WMAQ sportscaster Peggy Kusinski for their wise words and big laughs.

The Chicago Network—A juicy and provocative conversation about personal well-being between Marilynn and Christie Hefner and more than 60 high-power members of The Chicago Network. As you can see, one lucky guy snuck in. Fine with me. Guys care just as much about their wellness as girls do. Sometimes.

An Evening at the Wilmette Theater

OGGI—I was happy to see so many young people show up at OGGI, a unique gallery space in the Heart of Chicago/Pilsen neighborhood. It was a wildly eclectic evening of poetry, prose and personal well-being, Big thanks to Margo Rush, founder of OGGI, an innovative force for art in all its forms.
